Can your business afford to lose 8500

The average cost for an employer to defend a claim at an Employment Tribunal is currently estmated to be 1638500. Minimise the risk of being taken to an ET by ensuring that you have the correct employment procedures in place make sure you have contracts of employment amp that your employees know the company rules.

Will we all be celebrating the Royal Wedding next year ......

Not all staff will have an automatic right to a day off on 29 April....it depends on the wording of the employment contract. A contract stating 20 days holiday bank holidays right to the extra day.
A contract stating 28 days including bank holidays the employer having the right to treat the extra day as any other day.
But Managers can I ask you to think about the consequences before you decide what to do....what about adverse publicity amp employee dissatisfaction.........
